If the IDF have genuinely thought they were ambushing Hamas, laying down 100 rounds is lightweight when automatics are in the game. You aren’t even talking half a minute, assuming they’ll have had at least 10 soldiers involved, it’s **** all.
But they would have already known they fired on ambulances, they buried them! They also let an operative go, so they were always going to be found out, when he was released 15 hours later. Why not just put him in the ditch with the rest of them if it was a cover up....he in your theory should have already have been dead before they 'got found out'.
Yeah I commented a few days ago, you will not know that, but I said then, 100 bullets I didn't feel was excessive for 14 or 15 dead bodies, some disagree with that and gave reasoning.
The timeline is though, that they fired on a convoy of Ambulances, then buried them along with the bodies of the medics. You can only presume that they buried everything in the hope that it wouldn't be found. When it was discovered, they apparently wouldn't let anybody near the site for something like 15 days. And then tried to say it was a convoy of Hamas operatives travelling without lights or emergency beacons It was only when the video emerged of Ambulances, clearly marked, with lights and emergency beacons flashing that they were exposed a having lied about the whole thing. I don't know why they didn't kill that remaining medic. But the story would have come out eventually, as the video footage was on the phone of a dead medic.

To be fair, they did a better job on the UN aid convoy. Putting a couple of Hellfire rockets through the roof of those vehicles.
If the IDF soldiers were stood there with one shot sawn off shot guns firing at the medics lined up against a wall then they’d have a point When they’re firing at vehicles when there’s people inside them they’ll need to lay down loads of fire to be sure they’ve nailed their targets.
You missed an important bit from this timeline though...the medic that is still breathing, in the hands of the IDF, waiting to be released and was released. Why not just shoot him at the time, if it was a conspired cover up, surely even you can see this massive hole in your story.
I don't know why they didn't kill him, but that doesn't negate any of the other events that unfolded during this incident.
If only the IDF could have spared 6 or 7 more bullets for the operative that was still alive, it would have been the perfect story for some.
