…… Mrs R&W and I were in Tangey’s Sports Bar in Benalmádena back on 11th March. We were watching our game vs Sheff U and there were a crowd of Sunderland fans in there at the same time playing pool and watching your game vs Preston. We ended up having a really good chat with them - really good bunch. We were well outside the playoffs at that time - we went behind to the Blades and you also went behind to Preston - but we both ended up with 1-1 draws. Great, boozy night. At the time I could never have thought we’d be in the playoff mix - and if things stay as they are we could be facing each other in the playoffs!! I don’t suppose any of your regular posters were those chaps we met on holiday?!!!!!!!!

Yes - for sport (I wouldn’t go there unless City or England were playing) - and they are able to show multiple games at the same time. You just ask them and they will set it going for you. It’s located in a very lively area away from the beach called Ibenza Square. https://g.co/kgs/z4UXrXk We go there several times a year and stay in a mate’s flat.
It’s a lot better than it used to be mate. Not sure when you went, but the marina has been voted the best in Europe - and the beaches are lovely with lots of bars and restaurants. We stay further up (10 mins walk) towards the train station in an area called Arroyo de la Meil (stream of honey) just round the corner from Tange’s. We’re very lucky that my old school friend lets us use her flat at mates rates. She doesn’t let it to anyone else outside her family. She even lets us keep a bag of clothes there so we don’t need to drag stuff around. Anyway, it doesn’t seem to have been any of you guys we met - it was a long shot anyway! Good luck in your final 3 games……. (Not the next one - or the 2 or 3 playoff games for obvious reasons )
