The team in the championship can have those players not good enough for the PL, Bereton Diaz, Arma, Archer etc

The team in the premier league can have the players who think they’re too good for the championship, but no other premier league club will buy them, Ramsdale, THB, ABK

We can even share a kit with a Velcro badge

 

McCarthy is the best keeper we have for dealing with crosses, even better than Rambo imo, but Bazunu is too slight. He gets knocked around too easily when coming for high balls and I am still not convinced by his shot stopping, as he always seems to be about a second late in diving for the ball.

 

Bazunu is just a terrible keeper. He can kick the ball but can’t stop shots.

McCarty is ok, last championship season when we had a veteran keeper it worked out ok.

Whilst the are probably our better players, let's hope they do what Liverpool did - bought all our best players, then ended up playing like us for a year!

 

So WHU, who will likely finish in bottom 6 are looking to purchase 3-4 players from the team that will finish bottom!? Think their fans will be spitting out their early morning coffee.

Perhaps we can do a straight swap for Onana? He seems up to our level of incompetence

 

His two penalty saves against Villa certainly won't have hurt his cause (or ours). Add in quite a few PL clubs likely to be in the market for a new no.1 in the summer and we could have ourselves a bit of a bidding war

 

Not if the rumoured release clause is true, which I suspect it is

 

He has a relegation release clause so he will simply pick his next club.

Well clearly. But I don't think there's going to be a shortage of clubs willing to pay it.

 

Allegedly it’s £25m (which is what we paid), but yeah he will talk to the clubs willing to pay it and make a decision and his chosen club will be the only ones who actually make an official bid
