Exactly mate. I even said on this post pre game I wasn’t taking anything from it.

The team, mentality and effort we see for the next few games will, quite rightly and expectedly, be very different from the playoffs.

Imagine the uproar if we went full tilt at these dead rubber games and Neil, Jobe, Enzo or whoever took a knock as a result.

Be hell on, and would be blamed on Reg or bizarrely the owners for ‘not resting players and easing off’.

We have finish 4th in a league we had slim to medium hopes of battling by for 6th in.

But you were posting, on here, during that 30 minutes with your mate ...

... and nothing you hadn't already said.

You must have some pretty tolerant mates, which boozer was it by the way.

There are only a couple left in the town that show it, so best not to make it public on here.

Sorry to go on but if your time with this train-bound mate was so precious ...

... why keep posting how boring the match was on here.

My mates would find that quite rude tbh.

I normally have my last neb on here about half hour before the match (unless it’s an away TV game of course) and then hop on after I get home to read folks thoughts.

Normally leave a short opinion then have a longer one the Sunday morning. I don’t really have an opinion on yesterday as we just setting up for the post season now.

Yeah that's clear. We are rotating playing in.

I am more concerned with the pattern and style of play personally. Think it has been going on a while.

Not sure we can just flip a switch and get back to really good, high energy performances.

If yesterday was a preseason friendly we’d all be thinking the result didn’t matter and has very little relevance to the actual season. That’s how we have to look at these next few games in my opinion

Yeah that's fair. That's how I felt about it yday. Little relevance and the performance was like that. Why I felt my preference was to leave early. Not telling others to do the same btw lol. Everyone has their own choice to make.

It's pretty clear Aleksic and Harrison Jones won't be starting in the playoffs but they both played yesterday...

... while Enzo and Jobe obviously will start and play.

If people think they should've started yesterday I doubt they're looking at things realistically.

Do you think we should go back to full strength for last couple ? Build some momentum and continuity in our play?

Just as RLB has done in his preparation for the play offs, but you are still critical of him for doing so.
Entertaining the fans isn't actually his number one priority right now. Points and performances aren't all that important right now. Yet because of our last 2 results people are writing off a whole season where we have achieved much more than many, including yourself actually predicted

I left on 85 mins to be fair, but that was only because my eldest was starting work at 1730 and we needed to get back through the tunnel ahead of the crowds. I’d rather that than he not go as he’s missed a few this season

    True enough.

My thoughts are there will be a burst of energy for the playoffs. The form really dipped after Burnley away maybe there was some acceptance that it was playoffs at that stage.

Let’s not forget what we are capable of, what we dodged first half of season and that was with no Enzo.

We don’t need to deep it too much until we play first leg.

    I'm absolutely sure we will.

As I said yesterday the time for 'minutes' and experimentation is this end of the fixtures.

RLB made it clear that's what he'd do and refine things later to build momentum.

I can't believe people are so surprised tbh.

Who is writing off the season? It's been a really good season IMO.
