Bottom sides all have fixtures against each other or sides with top of the table things to play for. Hoping we’re safe now.
First half was good, the second was a bit of a bore fest. We could've been three up before Bristol equalised. Morrison has started 12 games for the Rs and has yet to be on the losing side. Still, 5/9 points isn't a bad return for the week considering where we were.
Cardiff would realistically need to win 3 of their final 4 games to go above us which is highly unlikely
Decent game & played well first half, their goal seemed to disrupt our play, the two Jap or Koreans was outstanding & never gave up
They're a much better side than us, but for all their possession didn't create much. The booing of Armstrong was pathetic. Still, another season of dreadful football where we can celebrate not getting relegated. Move on Marti, let someone else have a go.
I don't really dislike him, he seems pleasant enough, but his style is too dull for me and we haven't progressed at all under him. I have no idea who should replace him really, but I reckon Nourry has one or two in mind. Change it up.
Entertaining in parts. Nice to see us having a go and getting a result for the effort. Quite amusing that the rather short Dembele managed to head in but that was partly due to the quality of Dunne's cross. Kolli just saw the glory and had a headrush. He needs to learn that the team is more important than personal glory. Potentially, a half chance wasted. As others have stated, it would be a freak set of results to see us relegated now. Lovely to hear from Warnock. If I'm not in Greece, I might go to his show. Next season will see a fair few changes. I'll be happy without a prolonged losing streak, consolidation and a push for playoffs in 26/27.
I think if Dembele is going to play it needs to be through the middle. He’s dreadfully weak and lax with the ball too often. You can’t trust him receiving the ball in his own half. The boy Yang had a bit of a thankless task but did it mostly very well. Even Old Man Jack kept a cool head on a yellow for over an hour though a tad unlucky to lose out in the refereeing tombola when other players were allowed to do what they wanted.
Enjoyed that. Decent seats for a change so could see the whole game. We were great until they scored. Thought Bristol had the momentum after that. Yang was tiring second half and thought Kolli should have come on earlier. Yes he skied that chance but he also made it all himself, went through half their team to set it up. Why were the away fans given half the lower school end? Especially when the corner of the upper stand next to SA was empty?
