I can't imagine that will be allowed, having the name & number in black going through black & white stripes, without a colour block. Even if it is faded, there will be complaints it isn't visible enough. PL won't allow it. They will find a way to dock us 10 points for breach of rules.
It's OK though because you'll all realise when it's released. It's funny, but my initial reaction to new strips is always bad and then I grow to like it. Perhaps you're all less upbeat than me now or something.
I (and I can't believe I'm saying this) am leaning towards agreeing with you on this one Chaos, that makes it look much better than the photographs. Full verdict when I see it worn of course. Could still end up terrible. I expect that 26/27 season will go back to a more traditional design but I don't mind the odd curveball being thrown in there every now and again.
I like it. Gives me a Juventus vibe We always look like a cheap Championship side, nice to have a kit someone put a bit of thought into
Ultimately it's nice and it will sell to a wider audience. It's had some effort put into it, has no white panel on the back, the numbers and name in black looks mint, and I like the colour shifting element personally because it has something eye catching and different about it. It's cool and if you make the black consistent I suspect you'll have a white panel on the back. It's something you'll grow to like I think.. Ironically that's usually what happens with me.
