PSG have a huge advantage over the rest of the teams in that they've already won the league. They can afford to rest their whole team in league matches and it make no difference to them.

Not to speak too soon, but it feels like PSG's year and that they've actually built a proper team, rather than just names on a teamsheet.

 

I have had a feeling about Barca this season

 

Imo PSG have peaked at the right time, like Real Madrid used to do, so I reckon it's their year too.

 

I wouldn't mind PSG winning it this year tbh. Yes, they a **** of a oil club but I like the way they play plus we'd have gone out to the winners then.

 

I think the difference from my perspective is Real looked largely like they did before christmas against us. We dominated them at anfield and frankly arsenal dominated them last night but it took two nice hits to break the deadlock. PSG absolutely tore us up, theywere so much more intense that anything we could bring and just killed us bar alisson.

So:

3-0 going to bernebau should be tie winning. I can't see real being about to suddenly dominate arsenal in a weeks time.

tonight villa are going into something that imo Emry will struggle to get across to the majority of his side. Rashford and asencio shoudl know it but players like diaisi, mings, Garcia, maatsen, tielemens, mcginn, onana and even rogers won't have a clue what is coming.

When you've a vastly over rated keeper who can drop one infront of a player as much as be a worldie and several players who are likely to make a bad foul and be off I think villa will do very well to bring home a result that keeps that tie alive.

LFC have dropped off, no question but i could see that psg were by far the most intense, pacey and direct team we played all season. That included arsenal and villa. what PSG lack is a central striker. they are playing 3 wide men up there.

Seriously if they get thier tails up as a club arsenal can do on a 7 game winning run here. Let them on to the semis and we should focus on our 11 points.
