Don't get the general negativity about that game tonight. First half was poor but was Patto even tested? 2nd half much improved and might have won it on another day. Vital rest for Jobe and Roberts, mins in the legs for Le Fee. Samed, Jobe Ballard and Cirkin to come back in next few games. 4 points from 2 tough away games in the space of 4 days. Plenty to be positive about.
If I was Dan Neil I would get into the office tomorrow and sign as long a contract as possible. Any Premier League scouts watching that game would have lost interest in signing him at this time. I think we’ve got him for another 4 years.
I seriously believe RLB has to use minor injuries to persuade these lads to take a break ... ... they just want to play every game.
