Indeed. But how dare California, which is the biggest net contributor to the Federal budget, ask for aid when it is facing natural disasters? I dread the day when the San Andreas Fault goes, but mark my words - the hillbillies and rednecks will instantly whine about how their (heavily subsidised, when you look at how farming works in the US) dollars are going towards bailing out 'liberals'.
It's sadly amusing reading stories like Caitlyn Jenner complaining "this isn't what I voted for" after she backed Trump and he went after Trans community. And the Canadian American republican saying "this isn't what I voted for". This morning reading about a billionaire who is losing millions in the stock market who backed Trump heavily complaining "this isn't what I voted for"... And the federal workers complaining he fired them after voting him in because they thought other people would be fired not them Trump was pretty clear on all these things before being elected.. this IS what they voted for. I'm amazed at how many people voted a monster in and when he impacts them badly they're all whining because they thought he wouldn't really ruin their lives, just the lives of other groups he promised to go after. He's doing all the stupid things he said he would. Which is why he probably is serious about messing with Greenland and really will end democracy like he said he would.
