I thought the same to be honest and it's definitely playing with statistics in order to exaggerate a point, but it does seem to be in the extreme to me. Further probably dodgy statistics seeing as I've started: We've scored 3 or more goals in the 5 games mentioned, in addition we've scored 2 goals in 3 other games. That's more than half our goals in only 8 games (22 out of 40), leaving 18 goals in the other 32 games. That's a smidge over 1 goal every 2 games. That might be no different to an average team - I've no idea and I'm not about to work it out - but it feels poor to me.
A lifetime spent using statistics to demonstrate to hapless senior managers what I want them to believe; it's a hard habit to break.
It certainly is poor. No denying it in reality. It’s stemmed down to having very little creativity out wide forcing us to be quite narrow and subsequently not really having a midfielder consistently capable of a killer pass. Palmer is good but we just haven’t seen enough of him for varying reasons. As others have pointed out the good thing is we’ve become resolute and I can’t think of many games we’ve been resoundingly beat especially under Selles.
I am going to the game My mate who supports Watford told me "You will hammer us tonight. We have no strikers and the midfield and defence are already on summer holiday" I hope he's right & City turn up tonight!!!
I only have Now TV, and it is on the list of EFL championship game tonight. If you have access to the Now TV app, just click on the EFL logo and it lists all the game available to stream. Side note, the new NowTV app and interface is a lot better than the old one.
Nobody can get red button anymore! It ended months ago! As PcWorks says, if you have Sky Sports on the Now app you have access to all these Sky+ channel games

The thing that worries me most is that it's not just this season. It seems to be like this more often than not. Last year we were in a promotion race but even then, scoring goals seemed to be a big challenge. Going back over the last couple of decades, we've always had success through a strong defence rather than by scoring a lot. Defenders always seem to do well here, while strikers never seem to. You could pick a whole 11 of defenders who've been brilliant for us this century but there are barely a handful of strikers. It seems to be somehow woven into the identity of this club.
The goalscoring will continue to be an issue until we bring in defenders and fullbacks that can consistently contribute to progressive play. Ours rarely do, certainly not with any momentum or pace. The odd decent long ball from Hughes aside, we simply don't have those options available at the back at the moment and every player in front of our back line always has more to do than necessary as a result. That's why so much breaks down for us so often. Look how many long balls Jones has overhit. Coyle takes the ball forwards but doesn't often make the pass. Macca plays it forwards often but providing Gelhardt drops deep for it. Hughes has a good pass on him but blows hot and cold with it. When they try and turn that screw we often end up wasteful. You stick a couple of Odubajo's in this side and it transforms us. Bang a more prolific striker in there and it helps even more. Until we do that we'll continue to struggle with goalscoring as we'll have defenders who defend and not much more, leaving us regularly outnumbered and/or too flat when we try to attack. Pandur's probably player of the season but still gets criticised for his distribution. It wouldn't even be a requirement if our back line had that side of the game in their lockers, which most other teams' do. We simply don't.
