"but....but....Sunderland had the lowest xG of any club to visit the Hawthorns this season" So ****ing What?
Nah, it's a bloke who goes to games, impersonates me and never buys a round ... ... I'm starting to get a bad name with the lads
They came to Sunderland and failed to have a single effort on target in the entire game ... ... boring boring Baggies.
But….but…..Sunderland had the highest amount of goals scored by any club at the Hawthorns that day. And really, that’s all that matters
I still don’t understand xG!! We had the three best chances of the whole game. I don’t really remember them getting more than one (cleared off the line). I also wonder, if that 2 footed tackle had been a red like it should, if our xG would be so low!
Otherwise known as 'Nothing to see here' ... ... if Isidor's goal at Derby isn't followed up there's no chance this will.
Although I agree Smug, the Derby fiasco if found in our favour would have been a benefit to our club, the West Brom non event is an opportunity for the authorities to get some beer money into their coffers by fining us for doing nowt, which is more akin to the EFLs agenda when dealing with our club. Not that I'm paranoid or anything.
I'd forgotten about that. How the hell did that just slip away? If that had been any one of the top lot, it would have been banner headlines, for weeks. Diagrams , 3D re-constructions, views from people who weren't there and prayers after Mass.
Daft but wtf ... ... if this happened things would suddenly look very different. Tuesday 8th April Blackburn Rovers 0-0 Sheffield Wednesday Bristol City 1-1 West Bromwich Albion Derby County 1-1 Burnley Norwich City 0-2 Sunderland Preston North End 0-1 Cardiff City Sheffield United 1-1 Millwall Stoke City 2-0 Luton Town Watford 0-1 Hull City Middlesbrough 1-0 Leeds United
And Mowbray had the nerve to moan about the decisions the referee gave us https://x.com/i/status/1908943546838548731
