Those two have been linked previously so probably just a rehash of those stories. I suggested Rosenior if we failed to get promoted and sacked Martin last season. He is similar to Martin but a lot more flexible from what I have seen. Sounds like he’s doing a good job in France under some challenging circumstances so don’t know if he’d want to come to us at this point anyway. Think he’d be a safer choice than Rohl in terms of promotion, but a high chance of disaster in the PL again
Just realised that in the two games against Fulham this season, they'll have faced Simon Rusk both times. Once in December after Russell Martin was sacked, and now in April after Ivan Juric has been sacked
And so the circus continues. The clown club is alive and kicking. When was the last time we didn't have a summer upheaval? Also, just catching up on some of the pages and wondered why people are saying Leicester won't necessarily compete next year? I didn't think they were in financial trouble? Looks like we'll be playing Wrexham, too. Not sure they'll have enough to fight for a fourth consecutive promotion though. Will Birmingham have enough to challenge at the top?
I genuinely forgot Lallana was at the club. What an utterly pointless signing and predictably so. How many minutes has he played?
Good lad though innit Along with Taylor, Wood, Edwards, Diaz and Fraser, the British core Martin was keen on signing in the summer.
Twice as many managers than league wins this season so far. Our top scorer has as many goals as we've had managers.
Well it was a gamble which was at least worth a punt. Nothing personal Ivan, but you had to go. Good luck with whatever you do next. The SR clown show continues
The agreement being Saints: get out of the building Ivan, you've been a disaster Juric: No, pay me to go Saints: ok, but we'll tell people you were **** Juric: if you do that, I'll stay here stinking out the corridors and drawing a fat wage for months Saints: Ok, have some cash, and we'll say it was mutual
Seems like SR are doing the right thing for once. Get him gone, so they can appoint the new guy well ahead of pre-season. Just hope the new guy is someone that can take us forward again.
Rosenior seems good with youngsters. Strasbourg have the youngest avg age team in the top 5 leagues by some distance. Something like 21 years old which is outrageous. Feel he underperformed with Hull last season though, but Hull fans would probably disagree, seeing as he took them from relegation contenders.
