Just hope we don't put ELF there. Needs to play in the middle. Could see the class immediately today.

Although it was nervy I think we are starting to look a bit more composed holding on to a lead.
It's not as much desperate defending like it has been in the past when we've conceded last minute equalisers.
If we can learn to play with that little bit more composure when we win the ball back we could be deadly on the counter.
I would have no complaints if RLB used the last games to concentrate on getting that spot on.
We've all complained in those games when we've sat back and conceded late, however these lads are young and are hopefully learning from their mistakes.
We've got very attacking players and we could play every game as all out attack, but I really think we have the perfect squad to develop into a team that goes 1 up then sits back and hits teams on the counter.
All the games we've thrown away we've had 4 or 5 chances on the counter before conceding late on.
Start getting that part right and we could be deadly

Agree with this. A lot less ragged when we are defending.

Hard working effort that. Well done, everyone put a shift in. Horrible about Mundle, just got to get him sorted now, probably for next season. At least Enzo is back though. A class act that lad, and others play better around him.

I'd like to see the midfielders get a bit of a rest each. Not sure what hobbies Dan Neil has, but I'd rest him for a couple of games/ weeks. Send him fishing for a few days if that's what he does! Ditto Jobe and Chris at different times.

More balls through on the ground for Wilson are a must too, that's when he is favourite . But overall we are so far ahead of where I expected I'll just watch and enjoy!

3points, 2 clean sheets in the bounce, Patto only one worthwhile save all despite the Ref going to the top of the sh1te Refs league then happy days.
Gutted about Mundle we need to be careful with ELF so he doesn't end up the same.

We're a better team with Mayenda as striker imo. Wilson has had one bad game on the left and he's been average at best as a striker for 2 months, I'd be fine with seeing him play left side next game. It won't happen. Main point being, for the time being we have le fee and he should be playing centrally. Whether that's Watson or Wilson or mayenda on the left, I dont want to see us shoehorn le fee in there just because he did it before.

I was on the train to New Street, with a Baggie, who reckons we didn’t have to get into second gear …

… I’ve hadn't thought of it that way tbh, but perhaps he's right.
