Season long loan, HD. He's back at Spurs for treatment, but I believe that West Ham still have to pay their slice of his wages and he'll return to them when he's fit.
I know that it doesn't usually, I was thinking that Wigan wouldn't be able to pay anywhere near what Brum and West Ham could, and Spurs wouldn't pay a bigger % of his wages just because Bentley would develop better for himself at a club like Wigan, so Bentley would have to try and lower his wage demands so Spurs would still be paying the same amount of money as they would if he went to Brum or West Ham, but Bentley would be getting less wages, if that makes any sense. Even though I'm not even sure if its actually possible to do that on Bentley or Spurs' part seeing as he already has a contract of certain value.
So by "freezing out" David Bentley we've restricted the growth of Kyle Walker? Please, run your (utterly terrifying) logic past us on that one. Apart from the fact I never said anything about English players, merely youth players, the fact remains Onuoha is a better centre back than Lescott - so if anyone should be frozen out for not being good enough, it's the latter.
We've got through... This is good news. Because both Sporting and Liverpool have qualified, our game on Wednesday should be good!
good news but i think it gives the kids a chance to learn more and i hope we put a stronger more consistent team together... it puts our kids in context well and should open their eyes. some players will need that to work harder, lisbon could teach us a big lesson if they want to, we'll see
If we beat Inter again today we top our group and if that happens we might be playing Liverpool! Should be good
our youths lost to swansea in the youth cup so one must feel not all is right with the underage set up, we've promoted guys up and moved things round and things seem to be getting worse.... stretched almost... now the question is seeing only two guys are training with the firsts why that is... the idea is to get guys into the sneiors but have we made an error with this reserve team being u19 or is this growing pains to see that happen? I don't know. in the end the idea is to get guys to the firsts and right now there's one guy that is going to go do that and the rest won't in all likelyhood so.....
I had a dream last night that Coulibaly scored his debut senior goal for Spurs, it must be on the horizon. How's he been doing in the nextgen?
Already qualified. Inter striker missed a sitter of a header barely 6 yards out and Harry Kane has hit the post at the other end.
Sporting Lisbon destroyed everyone in our group so they went through with 16 points. That left a battle between us, Wolfsburg and Molde for second place. Molde did us a massive favour by getting a 3-3 draw with Wolfsburg which meant that we went through with 7 points. Wolfsburg had 6 and Molde had 4.
