I agree yellow is correct based on the rules, and I don’t think Tarkowski meant to do it. It was careless and reckless and a “win the ball at all costs and don’t care what happens after” type challenge. Which personally I do want to see out of the game. so yellow is correct by the rules but it really should be something that results in punishment.
