With the latest reports that Bendtner is struggling for Sunday it looks like our only options are Ji and the untried Noble. I was thinking back to his Leicester days and the thought came up about hiim playing centre half (Elliott I think) up front, quite effectively. So lets get big Titus back in the side as a powerhouse centre forward on Sunday!!
Had not heard about Bendtner, maybe.. westy oshea..turner/bramble..brown..bardo larsson..gardner..vaughan sess..richardson ji
Where did this news come from? At the moment "couldn't hit a barn dooe Bendtner" is our only real option... I'm sticking with Ji making it in the end, but he can't do it alone... So it may be back to the enigma known as Sess, if this story is true.
If only we had Neduminho still playing for us, I would be confident of the center back forward tactic.
Whats the crack with Bendtner? I reckon he may well be off in January, now Bruce has gone. Maybe we will have a couple of new strikers next month after all? Well thats a bugger although it may well open up the door for young Noble and that would please me greatly tbh. MoN will remember only too well a young precocious 17 year old talent coming to play for Forest in 1979 and he wasnt too bad a player? At £1m (or actually a couple of quid below in reality), Trevor Francis won the European Cup for Forest. Noble could well be our saviour on Sunday and a complete unknown to Blackburn.
if MON did remember francis coming to forest as a 17yr old then he had clearly lost it!! francis was 25 when he went to forest after playing around 280 games for birmingham
Funny how Bendtner is struggling to score for us, but can score for Denmark without any problem. I am sure MON will figure out how to get the best from him
If Bendtner is out, then we really are stuffed! Not sure even MON can do much with Ji, he hasn't looked great to me so far in terms of finishing.
I tend to be with dansafc on this. Bendtner can do it o.k., as we've seen from recent Denmark games. It's not quite the same as Bent and Gyan - those two had no support at all, whereas Bendtner has had much better support from Larsson and Sess this season. I don't know what his problem is precisely, but I believe MON will look at it and find an answer. Y'know, Martin only started on Tuesday so don't let's get ahead of ourselves.
