its going back a few years but the opening lines of a song called "Flowers in the rain" by The Move (Jeff Lynne ELO) were : woke up one morning half asleep, with all my blankets in a heap

I keep having cool as **** zombie dreams. Wake up thinking that was epic!
Although my dreams have been pretty vivid recently, although they'll never hold a candle up to an ayahuasca experience <ok>!
The best is when you realise you're dreaming and you can lucid dream - always guarranteed an awesome dream!

Had to google ayahuasca there, where did you try that? Only done shrooms the once but they produce some pretty crazy semi-conscious dreams (close your eyes and full, completely fictional scenarios play out on the back of your eyelids)!

Had it abroad where it's legal, also smoked the pure chemical that is in the ayahuasca before, the smoking is definitely more intense, you just leave this world before you can exhale - was stood up the first time and my legs buckled underneath me, held onto the walls for dear life as I was sucked into a far away place. It lasts for 15 minutes, but it feels like a few lifetimes!
Some crazy ass stuff, not for the faint hearted, from reading into it before I tried it, some
Historians reckon it's what the Mayans & Aztecs based their religion around and what people base all sorts of crazy theories into what it actually does including allowing you to talk with aliens across the universe (a common sight on it is you're transported away to an almost alien world and see and converse with reptilian like aliens).
IMO it's just the strongest hallucinogenic known to man and it's all in the mind!
You feel euphoric after as it actually increases the neuroreceptors that process serotonin (the chemical that your brain uses to manage happiness), currently studies being undertaken in America for use with mental health patients as Shamens have been using it to treat such ailments for millennia.
Also it's supposedly the chemical your body produces when you dream and what you produce when you die (the out of body tunnel vision trips etc).

Wow, I'd genuinely never heard of it before. I'll have to have a better read up on it!

I just find it ironic that the most hallucinogenic substance is actually a natural part of the human metabolism!
It's like every night millions around the world are technically breaking the law by manufacturing and then ingesting an illegal substance during REM sleep.

It almost sounds like a sub-plot in a Hollywood film, the government outlawing dreams...Equilibrium anyone?

I had a lovely dream last night that Carol's playing career followed the same path as Jonathan Woodgates after he left us.
