Ah man. Heat is probably in my top 5 films ever. He was elite in that.

The sun rises and sets with her man....

    Really sad news.

Believe he was a bit of a dickhead on set as a young man and it curtailed his career when really he ought to have been up there with the very best of them in terms of talent and charisma.

Think life humbled him and he passed a very very popular and almost universally loved character.

If not by the director of the Island of Dr Moreau who ****ing hated him.

Very sad news, especially after beating cancer a few years ago.

Loved Top Secret, classic daft 80s comedy from the makers of Airplane.

Brilliant in Tombstone, " I will be your Huckleberry " Real shame, he made some great films.

I made the missus watch it on classic film night (she’s not too keen on most westerns) suffice to say she enjoyed that. Stole so many scenes in that Val Kilmer.

    Sad news RIP Iceman.

Absolutely love Top Gun. Just brilliant. Had something in my eye when he was on the screen in Maverick.

Have to say though, like others, he stole the show in Tombstone. What a performance that was. It is hard for modern day westerns to compete with golden era. That one does and he was so damn good.

Going to get the beers well stocked and get Heat on in 4k surround sound.

That shootout is still the best ever in any film IMO.
