Especially if refs keep giving decisions like he did yesterday at Wrexham, looking at the amount of bookings & a sending off, looks like he never had control of the game at all
I think it's 3 I've been to: Preston - enjoyable Southend - painful Sunderland - enjoyable even though we lost. The Sunderland supporters were great I never want to see one like the Southend one again
Looking at Birmingham's run in, I reckon it must be odds on them winning with at least 100 points. Some achievement in this league Isn't it sad that Shrews are a certainty for relegation yet they beat Birmingham and Wrexham, something we couldn't do, and they have drawn or lost by the odd goal against all the other top teams
& if you go down to 10th place in league 1, out of the 12 games we have played so far our record is W2 D4 L6 which just goes to show how mad football is Shrewsbury get relegated after beating Birmingham & Wrexham & you lookk at our record.
14 teams in L2 with higher average attendances than Wycombe. Unless we can do something about that what would be the point in a new stadium, or extending the one we have. Could we actually double that with a more accessible stadium?
It has to be said it's not the easiest to get in & out of grounds. Also I don't know if this a fact, if you look at the bottom of League 1 & 2 those clubs most of their footballing history is in non-league & that includes us, I have to say ours is the poorest of the lot, when you think we have been to Wembley 4 times in ten years, made it into the Championship for a season,& also had some good recent seasons in League 1..
They were such happy days Ron with Brian Lee as manager i went 10 years of not missing a game home and away.
I reckon Wrexham will be 6 points clear of us soon Out of the 7 teams directly below us, we play 6 of them (4 away) and the other one we play is Stevenage Could be fighting for a play off place
At the moment we need 8pts from 7 games for the play offs, beat Reading on Saturday & we will need 2pts
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wycombe opponents ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wrexham opponents
Charlton, at home to Northampton and Stockport, away to Peterborough could both secure their play off place with a win on Friday and they both are still in the running for auto promotion To summarise, we are playing 2 teams still in with a chance of auto promotion and 2 teams who need to win to make the play offs Wrexham are playing one team with auto promotion hopes, one team who must win to keep play off hopes alive, one team who badly need a win to get out of the relegation zone and one team who have no chance of play offs nor relegation (so will probably be trying out some youngsters for next season)
Will Rob Couhig finally take over Reading FC? Looks as though he has the Chinese owner by the short & curlies
Oops now 2-0 so that's the play offs settled unless Huddersfield can come back from 3-1 and beat Charlton. Most unlikely, having lost their last 5 games
