    Bigger stadium?
    More investment in the squad?
More modern manager that won't waste £35M on a Championship player?
A fit Steven Gerrard - or is he a spent force?

The answer might be that if we win our next game 4-0 and Arsenal and Toon lose theirs we'll be in the top 5.

Should that happen will you be posting a wum thread on their boards?

Why?,dont Arsenal and Newcastle lose games?.

Our next game is QPR who've conceded 25 goals(15 away from home).

    Everything else is fine?

You really believe that, or has the Scouse mentality changed?
Is it fine that you are no longer title contenders, and outsiders to even qualify for the Champions League>

Your home crowds are only 75% of what arsenal get and 60% of United - that's not fine is it?

What point(if any)are you trying to make?

Despite our not winning the league since 1990,despite not having a new ground, despite having lower attendances than Utd and Arsenal, despite almost going out of business, despite having two conmen as previous owners.

We are still functioning, still amongst the richest clubs in the world.

We even won the CL whilst not having gates as big as Arsenal, have Arsenal ever won it?

    <laugh>

    **** off lad.

For Liverpool to break the top 5 they should start playing on a Thursday night on Channel 5 - that's what all us big clubs are doing now <whistle>

The CL is for losers <ok>

Never at the Emirates, and last time they beat them away was in 1996 <ok> In fact, Everton have only beat Arsenal away twice in the league since 1976 <yikes>

    45 years overdue <laugh>
But in those 45 years, has there been a worse Everton team than today's?

c'mon you know nothing if you ask if thats the worst everton team in 45mins... you just put your foot in it there.... anyone of an age can rememebr fat southall and everton barely surviving on the last day of the season.....

Everton aint even that bad either! lacking forwards yes but otherwise they've a decent basic team....

newkie have lost how many on the bounce? arsenal are doing well right now but rvp could get injured this weekend and they'll be done for. who knows? the point was well made though that we'd be i nthe top 5 with one weekends results so the original question as being laughed at.

Rightly so as neither arsneal nor spurs can spend anything like what city and chelsea can and utd can only do it periodically. chelsea and spurs have smaller stadiums than us and newcastle are being robbed blind by ashely despite thier lovely ground so all in all the points made while maybe sounding ok were made towards the "top 5" and currently that top 5 are very much in flux.
