Professionals congratulating other professionals. Leave the hostile/bellend rivalry to the likes of me.
Mag mates that go to the match all got a handshake off me, I didn’t want them to win but they did.

They aren’t the only ones who don’t care about it, I didn’t then and I don’t now. I suppose it it will help the whining tossers who have a vendetta against the club though.

Rooch mate, I'm so close to walking away from this site for that very reason, the whingers and doom Sayers are getting right on my tits.
I don't follow the match day thread once the game kicks off as it's just a litany of finding fault with which ever players makes an error, and its the same every game win, lose or draw.
This site has gone downhill faster than a cart with no brakes....I'm sick of it.
Posting a thread cos two of our young players dared to like something connected to the scum...ffs.
Who do some of fans think they are the ****ing thought police for christs sake, it's just pathetic.
Anyway I'll go before I really lose my rag....I'm definitely not a happy bunny at present especially when were having a cracking season but theres a clique on here determined not to let any ****er enjoy it. Rant over.

I can take it for so long and then I flip, I never go on a match thread now if I can help it,
4th of of top with a bunch of bairns, if we win our next game we could be nearly 20 points clear of 7th and still they whine like f uck on the littlest tiny thing possible, I honestly wish they’d bugger off and let lads enjoy the season we are having.

Don't over-react marra. There are a few on here who seem to take pleasure in taking every opportunity to have a go at the club and/or the players.
However, as you say,we are having a cracking season, playing some cracking football, with some exceptional young players wearing our shirt with pride every week.
I'm enjoying watching this team...and there are many on here who are too.
Don't let the minority few grind you down....most of us on here are very inclined to honest debate.

Sorry you are feeling that way Cumbrian lad, try and rise above it all... even my OP, though, in my defence, it does highlight the differences of opinion in our fanbase. KTF

Whoever the mods are on this board need to shut down this thread. Some of the responses on here are embarrassing. Close it off please.

I'm at the match or watching the away game on the cube, so I'm more than happy to miss all the comments.

Would you apply that principle to the match day thread if it gets to negative?

Samwise, another totally decent poster, said much the same ... as have others, including myself who rarely post on match threads.

Every match thread ends up with an endless moan about players who didn't play, players we didn't sign, players who are injured, etc etc etc ...

... much of it totally pointless, posted in the wrong place and just derailing the match thread.

The moaners don't care if they drive good posters off the forum, though, they just want to give their opinion over and over again.

No opportunity to attack the club is missed.

They won't start a thread of their own for all these heartfelt and important opinions, they just cuckoo other people's threads and drive them away.

RTB has asked people not to bring their irrelevant arguments onto the match threads, but they couldn't care less.

Not really. Emotions can run high on a Matchday thread, more so in the aftermath of a defeat. It’s basic human nature when we are invested in the team. I just think this thread is making a storm in a teacup and some replies are a bit indicative of that. It’s a bit reminiscent of the BCB furore and we’re better than that.

Would love to know what I’ve said so wrong to make me an arsehole like

You clearly don’t really give a **** about SAFC, that’s fine. Some of us care massively, everyone is different I suppose.

Good point marra, I originally saw your response as a go at comments you saw as negative against the club

Match threads, even when we win have become a bore with very few laughs or praise for the win …

… the second we concede someone, who hadn’t posted up to that point, is always straight on within a split second.
