Fk talking about subs. Who the fk decided O9 was taking the penna. Fully understand Mundle storming off down the tunnel at the end.

A bigger thing for me. Throw ins. What the fk is the problem with SAFC and this simple fkn task? We are fkn pathetic with them.

PS, just got in. Am blotto and I reserve thright to change this tomorrow when I have read the thread.

    PPS, we won though. Yippee

    PPPS, good night

Absolutely mate, that’s all that matters at the end of the day but it’s short sighted. It’s a squad game and we’ve a great group of players, should be using them more IMO. I’m not even bothered about O’nien taking the penalty I wish he had the balls to do it at Burnley for the second.

Apologies that sounds like a dig at O’nien which it isn’t, I wish ANYONE of a senior role had the balls to do it at Burnley:

So much negativity surrounding a solid, professional, clean sheet win!

We won. The Onien penalty, meh. Didn’t matter. And for those who ask “well what if it dud?” You can **** off. It didn’t and that is all that matters!!

just to point out, oniein has scored each penalty he’s taken fir SAFC prior to that. And also had a cracking game defensively.

Lovely catching up with @Smug in Boots @becs et al. Pleasure as always

Alex Neil made loads of Subs. That worked out well for him.

He was tactically outdone today. Considering he got us out of League One I absolutely hate him, midtable Championship coach and that's being generous.

He must kick himself every day he walked out on this squad mind, he’ll never get a better job than us, got his money though so maybe that’s all that matters to him

Obviously, he is now working in London, which is nearer to his home in Preston

I don’t buy it he signed a rolling contract with a get out clause which he wanted, he never wanted to be here long term which is absolutely fine id have a lot of respect for him if he just came out and said he moved for more money, thankfully we’ve outgrown him massively

We’ve come through quite a hurdle today with a makeshift defence. Onwards and upwards I think

There are a lot of people on here who champion player development at all times who are now not too fussed that we have a 3m player who doesn't get a minute every week.

It is really strange. It's not setting him up at all either. When the time comes, and he might have to start games, surely some sub appearances would be beneficial?

We know RLB hates subs. We literally have made the least , compared to every single club in the league. There is a connection to why we had so many injuries IMO.

Definitely nice to get back to winning ways, had a great day around the pubs of sunderland yday.

Please, for the love of God, sort this penalty situation out!

Thought it was good to see Roberts and Mepo being back to good form too. Both were really good.

Still wasn’t ideal missing a proper fullback.

Millwall are only 6 points off playoffs so they will have gone into this match chomping at the bit even if we disregard Neil probably wanting one over on us:

West Brom next and this will be a test also.

Thought Millwall were genuinely terrible. Plodders. Not a single player would get into our starting 11.

Coburn always looks a dangerous player but too injury prone

Apparently he was selected before the match..

coz he’s known for his goal scoring attributes.

    I pray we practice them

Thing is he’s scored every one for us he’s taken in shoot outs. Normally puts his foot through it too. Wonder if the fact that the ball was moving played on his mind?

As poor as penalty as it was, he dud miss the target. And I’ve always said you hit the target you never know. If the keeper goes the other way he scores *and if my Aunty had balls….)

Am arguing with a lad on Facebook who’s saying “if ,Millwall had taken their chance” then, when I also say “if we had taken 1of ours” and doesn’t get it when I point out that Millwall didn’t so it’s irrelevant! Yet says we didn’t so it’s irrelevant?
