At-least we won't have to take Harrison back...

To be honest I’m not surprised and not devastated. Can’t get idea out of my head exactly how far we are from being a competitive pl team. I do feel sorry for those fans who cannot even consider being out of the top flight

Just looked on youtube to see if any highlights yet, because as you all know i have been Mesliers biggest critic for years now and needed to see if he was as as bad as you all say, and yes he was apart from the penalty save which as someone else suggested the law of averages say sooner or later he will dive the right way on a low shot. But my god he looks a schoolboy in goal, that first goal was bread & butter catch for any keeper, but not Mes <doh>.
for anyone interested on the beginnings of what looks like a Leeds end of season meltdown, the links below.

I wish I could feel more optimistic but that performance was poor today. It's clear that Sheffield & Burnley are not going to drop many points and with 2 awkward away games coming up I fear that our time in the top 2 is coming to an end. At least we won't have to play Burnley in the play offs because they simply don't concede goals.

If at the start of the season we could have swapped goalkeepers with Burnley we would be as good as promoted now. I'm pretty sure of that..

I wouldn't claim to be an expert in any shape or form but Meslier has to stand aside now. Darlow looked decent for Walers in midweek. Also we have to make more use of Gnonto he is one of the best young players around. And Farke has to make substitutions earlier. Solomon was off it today and should have been pulled off at HT if not earlier.

As for the play offs I wouldn't write our chances off but we saw against WBA that we won't necessarily be any better than teams like that and they are not even sure of making the 6.

Football really shouldn’t make me feel this bad <laugh>
I really wish I didn’t care. I feel for the sake of my own sanity I just need to find something else to do at the weekends rather than having Leeds ruin it. I just want to miss the rest of the season and see where we are next year.

I’m just heading out the door to a queen tribute band. They’re excellent and combined with a few pints I’ll not think of football again till tomorrrow

We really were p*ss poor today. We improved second half but Swansea seemed able to string slick passes together and we just couldn’t. Not sure I’ve seen this side under Farke give the ball away so often… and lose so many second balls. We didn’t deserve more than we got but that said, we’d still have won it if we had a reliable keeper. Read my posts from 4 years ago when I first said he was a liability. Not his fault - it’s the idiots that keep picking him/haven’t replaced him because he’s ’world class’ in training.

Joseph as well for the goal, FFS just control it.

I’m so pissed off with how this season is unfolding, I popped on Twitter, was surprised at how many fans have turned on Farke too

Thought it was just me and Olof hating him

I wasn't panicking before the game as I thought watch us go now after a little int break. but we looked worse than before it. we wanted to much time on the ball Our passing was horrific at times. Fair play to Swansea though I thought tactically they were far better. Pressed well, played a very high defensive line which helped boss the midfield and also looked dangerous on offence. We just couldn't cope with their style and Farke did nothing to try to win that midfield battle it was lost from the get go. Even so we found what we thought was the winning goal yet after we scored we looked scared stiff and went into retreat mode which we just can't play. Meslier you think get in lad a pen save this will bring him so much confidence in his remaining 7 games then goes placing a routine catch on the foot of Darling. Tanaka can take some blame aswell for the awful clearance of giving them the corner in the 1st place in which we defended like clowns leaving a few of their players on the edge of the box to have a dig on the outball in which a shot in came giving Meslier another brownie point in a decent save go Meslier get in son this is more like it. then everything he done well just blows away again. The first goal was routine the 2nd goal he should be saving yes it has power but its on him. Nobody played well today. Mes was getting a nod of being MOM then went from hero to zero. Am I worried now hmmm Yes I am because our performances have changed. We have to win these next two away games but now are looking tricky as hell Luton are fighting for their lives to stay in the division and Boro are still one of the best teams in this division on their day..I hate football sometimes and this club has a habit of bringing the shyte all back in the pan. We just don't do anything straight forward no matter who is in charge or the playing staff. I can take draws and defeats if the performances are there but right now they aren't which is biggest worry. Another week of worry it is. Thanks Leeds.

Responded well to big gk errors before, hopefully can again. Hurts more in a home game though with the reaction at the end.

Farke is very overrated. At Leeds he has the most talented squad in the division. At Norwich he also had the most talented squad in the division.

The difference is at Norwich he had Pukki constantly bailing him out. He doesn’t have that luxury here.

He has no tactical awareness. He doesn’t attempt to change things when needed. His strategy when losing is to throw eight strikers on and hope for the best.

I’m afraid this job, and the pressure of this job at this club, is beyond him.

I wish I could say I’m surprised, but tbh after 5 minutes you could see this happening. The only players I thought held their own was Byram and Struijk. Piroe just about deserved his spot and possibly Rothwell. Otherwise it was a shambles of very poor passing effectively giving the ball to Swansea throughout. Rodon’s challenge for their penalty was shocking, James’s attempted release of Solomon immediately before that which handed the ball to Swansea in the build up, equally so.

There I was thinking Meslier was having his best games for us, like Olof, thought he saved a few - then he spills a simple cross, and bingo, all square.

Was especially disappointed in Solomon, he looked miles off it today, a luxury we couldn’t afford.

Frankly I don’t see this team having too much of a spine at the moment. A month ago I couldn’t see us as anything other than Champions, now I just can’t see automatic.
