Thought today he dug in and played that anchor role more. Kept his discipline. With the defence a bit out of synch he may well have asked to be more mindful of his game. Professional performance for me, without standing out.
28/35 passes 1 chance created 4 passes into final third 2/6 accurate long balls 4/7 tackles won 1 interception 9 recoveries 10/15 ground duels won 3 fouls won passing wasn’t perfect but got stuck in defensively today
Fair enough. Not what I seen. Thought his passing was really poor today. Thought Rigg was better. Made some nice passes and touches.
Sort of backs up what I thought I saw. He did the rough side well but didnt make the progressive passes he does when he is playing a more front foot game. My suspicion is with the defence as it was he was asked to moderate his game a bit. Seen him play better of course, but it looked a good team man performamce to me.
good win after the coventry result. Hume was good again and mepham was back in form Penalty situation needs drastically sorting out asap mind!
Oh aye, thought Browne was canny today. Seemed to work well with Roberts. Wonder if that is a little good lesson for us. Another option maybe. Mind you, Millwall werent much of a threat.
Yeah. 80%. Compared to his counter part he was significantly the poorer CM player. I just want to see more from him and feel he has been run of the mill for a bit.
His other centre mid player who did less on the other side of the game and played much simpler passes due to positioning on the pitch they are not playing the same position
I think what we’re doing is using up all our missed penalties so that if/when we get to really important penalties, the playoffs for example, the odds will be with us to get back to our average of penalties scored. Very devious of RLB that.
We only sang it after an announcement for some to sit down, which has happened a few times this season and is the only time that we sing it
