<peacedove> Luis Suarez has been charged for giving Fulham fans the finger.
The FA are going to decide the punishment soon, and he could miss crucial games
    during the Cristmas/New year period.:undecided:

Hopefully he'll just be fined, we'll find it hard without him tbh.

Absolutely - without him, we lose our spark and our most creative player.

I'm still surprised that the FA charged LFC for their conduct against Fulham - ridiculous considering every team surround the referee when he's just sent off their player. But it's an aspect of the game I would stamping out but it's just a shame that the FA have started to be strict with it by making an example out of LFC.

simply bring a video of mr rooney along and a statement of what he got and dare the fa to do anything.

then turn around and fine him two weeks wages for being a bloddy idiot. He deserves it.

Basically, the FA have decided that if you don't play for England and you swear at the fans you will be charged.

Considering that the FA have fought hard to appeal Rooney's Euro ban which was completely deserved, I think the LFC legal team will have a good chance of challenging the charges imposed by FA.

Why can the FA appeal against the punishments for petulance of its own players but feel the need to make an example our of Luis Suarez?

It gives us the impression that English players will always receive extra protection from the FA regardless of the offence.

Which is a form of discrimination. Saying it's alright for English players to do something and charging foreign players for the same offence is ridiculous. Perhaps the FA should be investigated by the Police.

hurts me too. keep askingmyself ''why us?''. i think the club should start big PR job to put us in media/fa/public hearts and minds. all the same, let us watch and see if similar ''conduct'' will attract same punishment.

Fulham fans give it, but expect nothing back?

Suarez is just a person like you or i. What would most people do?

I think a fine will be all he gets. but the evra business is another matter.

at least that would convince the decision makers to start shopping for a functional striker.

    Good point.

Suarez getting charged for something the FA turned a blind eye to when two former England players Beckham and Neville made the same gesture.

Hes getting done for racial abuse yet could play the racial card in his defence of the gesture charge.

we should simply circle the wagons say everyone is against us and us this to our advantage by bringing a siege mentality.

we should also surround every referee in every game from now on seeing mr terry, mr ferdinand et al do this every week.

hot water in refs dressing room should be truned off.

refs should be made come through the main stand player entrance "for security reasons", all TV should be likewise especially neville.

in short we should work to rule and make anfield a no go for everyone who is not pro liverpool and then see what they do.

That looks like an awfully familiar formula to anyone who casts their eyes down the East Lancs Road from Merseyside...

We've never been media favourites. In the days when we were winning everything they had to jump on the bandwagon but as soon as Utd took the baton of success the media were falling over themselves to drool over them.
