Had a good Charlton catch up in the pub today with highly knowledgeable Charlton fan @ElfsborgAddick

We both agreed that Blackpool is an absolute karzi of a place, to be ticked off once and never re-visited. I added that my own least fav away trip was Blackpool’s near neighbour Fleetwood.

Time was short, we didn’t get time to discuss really deprived places like Wrexham.

    Once again guvnor, :emoticon-0137-clapp:emoticon-0137-clapp.

The attendance was a very healthy 1002, as a Bank Holiday I am assuming it was higher than average.

Bracknell played the last 30 minutes with 9 mine after two very players got sent off for totally unnecessary tackles.

The ground is the HQ of the Hampshire FA, very bland but a new ground for me so all good.

Used to live in Bracknell. Grim place. Never visited the local football club who I think didn’t play in the town at least then.

Did Lewes FC for the first time last week. Beautiful little unique old ground right by the station with a healthy supply of local pubs.

Lewes is a fine place. Full of history, including the medieval priory and Anne of Cleves' house. I used to enjoy a pint or two of locally brewed Harvey's before strolling down to the Dripping Pan. Great days.

Didn’t see that but at the back of the one seated area there’s a load of scarves hung up from random clubs.

    :emoticon-0183-swear Programme - no <wah>
    :emoticon-0171-star: Badge - no :steam:

    :emoticon-0167-beer: Beer - no :emoticon-0121-angry
:emoticon-0163-pizza Food - no :emoticon-0104-surpr the kiosks were overwhelmed by the size of the crowd
    :police: Entrance - £8
    :emoticon-0157-sun: Weather - cracking <ok>

Looks like a good day out, albeit no working facilities at the ground!
Being a Cup Final it seemingly drew an unusually big crowd...
They are snappy looking skyscrapers in the background. Better than the tower blocks around the Valley...

Multiple :emoticon-0137-clapp Guvnor, your time and expertise getting around this I am very grateful for.

It was bloody hot, and as can be seen very little protection from the sun.

It was a poor game that I was certain would go to penalties, but a near post header with three minutes to go won the day.
