Maybe Chelsea. He's a good player but wouldn't represent value for money so will go to someone who doesn't care about that.

Why would he want to run out of bayern like a scared rabbit?

    He's getting personal glory again.

Goal of the season in Germany
    Top scorer in Germany
The golden shoe for Europe or whatever they call it.

he's on for the same this year and he is even going to finally not jinx a side from winning something.

Even the kane jinx couldn't strike bayern twice.

Corrupt Premier League announced a second transfer window on June 1-10 th to facilitate Man City and Chelsea, those paragons of honesty to get more players in before the club World Cup. It also explains why Real are keen to pay something for TAA as they want him registered for this tournament

You're right, but in the case of that club especially, they should be caring about that. :emoticon-0108-speec

How is he not our type? We need a 20+ goal scoring centre forward. In our team Kane is a certainty to do that. If you can show me all the stories of him being a totally disruptive influence then you may have a point

Never even hinted for a moment that he was 'disruptive'? I mean his style of play - he's a target man, and I think the last of that type we used was Balotelli, and before him Benteke. We only got Balotelli as he was forced onto Rogers, iirc.

I'm not dissing Kane at all - as you say, he scores many goals. I just don't think for the wages he'd be on we could use him just as an impact sub to change games, because we're not going to change our style of play to accommodate him.

    Too old

Too expensive (have you seen his wage)

    Too slow.

We are still a klopp team. Slot has benefited from fast break football this year.

Whoever is bought they won't be old, expensive and slow.

: Jeremie Frimpong's agent is heading to Liverpool for talks, with the player eager to join the Reds.
Personal terms are reportedly not an issue, paving the way for a potential transfer!

    Hmmm.

This is like milk in the work fridge.

    Let's sniff it first.

It's March. Oh oh. Bit of a pong.

He had a contract to 2028. Yeah there's a bad whiff here.

Salah and VVD will get the same treatment. Trent won't, because he's a local lad... <doh>

    It's an interesting situation

Look VvD and Salah could easily lower their expectations and settle for a much lower wage/length that the club would be willing to gamble on (obviously we have no idea about the negotiations, just that if they really wanted to stay for the love of the club then they could have wiggled lower). Or they could both have agreed a one year extension with the proviso they are sold or get a further extension.
So in reality Salah and VvD have run their contracts down just as much as Trent, clearly with a different idea of what they would get from holding out though. But both have shown a desire to stay which Trent has never done in the whole process.

I suppose the issue is Trent is a local lad and the joy of playing for your boyhood club should be the dream. There is of course the exception that if your boyhood club isn't in the hunt for trophies, then it is a probability that a player would need to leave (ie Rooney from Everton).

However I don't begrudge Trent for want to try something new and being almost guaranteed a haul of other trophies in the process. I do feel it cuts him out of the legend status, he'll be a very good player that played for us (unless he comes back), It'll be hard to label him anything other than that because of the way he is leaving, much like Owen and Macca

Sorry Harry Kane is as far removed from a target man as I’ve ever seen.

I don't think Liverpool should underestimate how big a marketing goldmine Salah is in the Arab/Asian world either. It's a big market. I'm not saying we should keep him because he's good for shirt sales, but we should account for his undoubted contribution to the team AND his marketability. I'm sure his advisors are - and I'm sure there's other teams throughout the world that would pay him triple what we're offering, but he doesn't want to do the Ronaldo/Messi/Neymar shift yet.

How would you define him then? He's not a no10 - not in my book anyway. He certainly ain't a winger who cuts inside. He's as no9 as a Shearer and not a no9 as a Rush, I'd say.

He’s a complete number 9. Can play with back to goal. Can finish in the box. Left foot right foot head. His range of passing is as good as any creative midfielder and link up play is there. Complete package.
