Not Netflix but TV. Just seen an interview on GBNews with Jo Newby from Hull. She has a statue in her honour in London. She has fostered 101 kids as well as raising 2 of her own and adopting 3. Not only that she and her husband run football teams which give disabled kids a game. Remarkable woman and far more deserving of recognition than most who get it.
I think it’s more important for parents to watch it then be shown in schools , don’t wana say too much for those who haven’t seen it but the line , they thought he was safe as he was up in his room most the time was the kicker . I’ve long thought children have no need for smartphones and no good can come from 24-7 internet access at that age .
Those who go on about football’s problems are due to capitalism want to watch Stasi FC on Sky Documentary channel to see what happens under communist systems.
1970s East Germany? Really? I'm a student of Twentieth Century history (anyone who isn't these days ain't gonna get what's going on in the world) but we're a quarter of the way through the Twenty First century. Referencing European communism ain't relevant for the Tiktok generation.
