If the conflicts weren't created to generate the 'need' for new armaments, some people won't be making money to contribute to politicians to create conflicts.
Leaving the facts to one side... What would you have done? What makes them different to you, or anyone else? Many would have already faced more challenges in their lives than some of us ever will, so I would suggest that they are likely to be quite resilient individuals.
Most are economic migrants, not refugees or asylum seekers. One of the biggest groups have been from Vietnam. What wars are they fleeing? They have a socialist/communist government so they should be happier than in awful capitalist Britain, We have a poster who lived there happily for years so why are they coming here except for economic reasons? Which wars were Albanians fleeing? What discrimination are Muslims experiencing in Muslim countries, why do they want to come to a non Muslim country?
I prefer to think of people as individuals, not group them together just to suit a particular agenda. From a psychosocial development perspective, growth is a tendency IN everyone. I would never begrudge anyone for trying to better their lives. At least offer these people the decency of processing their applications. Looking down on others is not a good look for anyone.
