Lavrov is Putin’s dog, not sure about the other two. I googled “Russian opposition leader”, and got Alexei Navalny, who is currently dead, so maybe the odds of a new dawn for Russia aren’t great.
On the topic of Ukraine... I do too. Generally I don't think either can be trusted right now. As for Chinese food, I find the legit stuff (not the westernized versions) to be really bland and tasteless.... Although most Americans have really bland pallettes too... So to me it's a tie.
Donald Trump is a sock puppet Luvgonzo created years ago and doesn't realize that the joke has grown old now and he needs to stop ruining the global economy.
I heard today, that it was claimed by Ukraine that Russia had abducted 19,000 children during their conflict. So I looked to see what media news I could find on it, found this article... https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2025/03/14/7502815/ Ukraine is calling on the OSCE to pay attention to the illegal deportation of 19,546 Ukrainian children by Russia and the disappearance of 1,700 other children who have fallen victim to Russian aggression. Kyiv is demanding more active participation from international organisations in bringing these children home. I heard that the ceasefire in the Black Sea benefits Russia, who will move it's ships back there. When some spokeswoman was questioned by the presenter on this, she argued it also benefits Ukraine in getting their grain out through the port... so I did a quick google check on this, and apparently Ukraine use to export 6.5 million tonnes of grain every month before the war. More detailed info here from 2 April 2024... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-61759692 I did also find this from 2022 about the Russian damage to storage... Yes, Ukraine has grain in storage, but a significant portion of its storage capacity has been damaged or controlled by Russia, impacting the country's ability to store and export its grain. Here's a more detailed breakdown: Damage and Occupation: A Yale report indicates that approximately 1 in 6 Ukrainian crop storage facilities (grain silos and elevators) have been damaged, destroyed, or controlled by Russia since the invasion began in February 2022. Other info: Wheat in Ukraine is predominantly planted in the fall between early September and mid- November (Figure 1). This winter portion of the crop accounts for 97 percent of the total wheat production. Winter wheat harvest generally occurs between late-July and mid- August.12 Oct 2023
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4g71lk09npo It's finally happening. Good on the brave people who are standing up to those animals. Most will be identified, beaten, tortured and probably killed.
I had to google what that meant Often called Little Punjab or Little India, West London's Southall district has been a South Asian hub since the 1950s, and was featured in the 2002 film, "Bend it Like Beckham." Southall Market on High Street sells produce, spices, jewellery, and antiques while eateries along The Broadway offer samosas, dosas, and sweets like jelabis.
