Everyone is invited over so head over there if you’re keen. There’s a link provided by the pub landlord on the previous page. Just highlight it and you can choose open link.
Feel free chaps. Fans should explore new forums if they wish - everyone will still be welcome here. An invitation posted here from the administrator would have been a courtesy, but never mind.
They’re very intolerant to things other than Charlton - we sometimes get distracted and go off topic !
If Charlton, the Whole Charlton and nothing but Charlton is their philosophy, then fair enough. And if that extends even to the exclusion of subjects like people's favourite biographies, or music, or films or TV shows, then so be it. Their farm, their barn, their rules. I would hazard a guess though that certain other pet topics are not included on the censored list
TBF to Dick he has stuck to all things Charlton, including the youth teams, he knows his stuff and appears to have a good contact.
I can’t be doing with all this nonsense. Had they explained why they were leaving (I thought Dickey said he was too busy looking after a sick neighbour rather than post here) which I complimented. Seems that was not the reason at all. I see very little difference between the ITTV approach to discussion (disagree and you get banned) or the birth of C4L which does a mutiny without explanation. Nah not for me. Playground stuff:
It’s like this for me. We as cafc know better than most the importance of fan power. Had social media been around when we lost the valley, I have little doubt that we wouid still be at Selhurst park or more likely Charlton Park. Proper cafc fans without ego, ambition or bullying just got up and rescued the club by word of mouth and deed without ego and personal gain. ITTv is an anti cafc fan site run by a bully and a fan of Wrexham or Cardiff. Charlton life ignore that site as it is laughably pathetic. Not 606 challenges it which is probably the right thing to do. In my view this latest departure by nick/dick only serves to divide the fans further! If god forbid anything like 1985 happened again do you really think that the forums would unite? Do you really think that ITTV would support anything that Charlton life organises?? I am afraid that now that certain individuals ego and self importance seem to take precedence over the interests of cafc.
Neither has been asked by me. However, I can comfortably say one has f***** off because of my contribution here, the other is an Ipanema.
