Some phucker is going to come shopping in the January sales.

EVERY player has his price, so what's his?

    I'll go first.

Shane Long went for £4.5m rising to £6.5. Stewart isn't a striker, but with the ever advancing rise of footballer valuations I think that would be about right for Cam.

Of course I desperately want him to stay so I hope nobody stumps up anything that would tempt Pappa but £5m odd takes a bit of an edge off the £50m he's spunked so far, so you never know.

    Interest WILL be there.

He's worth silly money to us, £4-5m. But as for what someone would actually pay, maybe £2m max?

I think whatever valuation we have of him, it'll be a bit more if Leicester want him.

If we make it to the end of the transfer window with the same squad as we have now i'll be delighted. All we need is Billy Sharp and we'll be set for an assault on the top 2, anyone who comes sniffing around for the likes of Chester and Stewart should be tracked down and slaughtered and then told to **** off.

I value him at £3.5m, but to Leicester it's at least double that.

I hope we do what Spurs did with Modric, and reject every offer that comes in for Stewart no matter the price

How much is promotion to the Premiership worth?

If I were Hull City, I would not sell him for less than £20m

£80 million for getting into the PL now and thats just the sky and overseas TV rights money. NOBODY WILL BE SOLD BEFORE SUMMER 2012 of the first team.

i agree , i'd say hands off our regular Xi ,
remember what happened to Watford in their promotion failure in 2008,
Let Southampton make that mistake and hopefully one of two other play off contenders

Cant think of a similar player to him in our league - If everyone is watching Chester if the rumours are to be believed then Cam will have been part of the scouts notes for sure.

Anyone below 10th in the Prem will be worried going into the window. Id certainly expect some interest from one or two

surely if we do sell any of our players, it has to be for enough money to bring in an equally talented player to replace the one that left. otherwise we'll just be weakening our squad.

This is where Walshy was so valuable. I hope AP and Nick were left with a list of possible targets - bought as bargains.

    De ja vue...Frazier Campbell.
This squads value is rising, so selling now would not be wise.
We have a few players who should be sold on, We have 33 on our books.
If push comes to shove, do we really need to sell anyone?

You do not seem to grasp the principle of player / squad development. Whether or not a player leaves will always depend on the club who is luring him away. :emoticon-0112-wonde <ok>

I hope you are right, if the Allams have any aspirations of getting the team into the EPL, then they will have to hold onto our best players and add to them. I think the January window will show us where their plans lie.

At the moment, I'd say Cameron was probably worth about £2m, which is good, as is small enough to turn, but if someone were to come in at £3.5-4.5m, I think he'd probably be gone.

It sounded like he teased the hell out of them last night, and I have haven't seen a defender he cannot beat. They seem to need three to keep him quiet.

He is in the £5m+ bracket because of this and the fact he can get better. Just hope a PL club doesn't throw that kind of money at us and the agent gets wind of a big wages wad for him and the lad. It's the eternal football dilemma.

The earlier poster was right we played the team to Campbells strengths and that boosted his development and confidence.

Stewart can play striker as well.

According to the well informed plank at next to me Stewart is worth about £3.50!!!! So pearlers from this tool included:
Stewart - "Does nothing, doesnt look for the ball, he is a liability"
Hobbs - "Doesnt know how to head the ball"
Chester - "Doesnt know how to read the game, his atticipation is poor" (maybe he thinks Chester isnt excited by Christmas)
and my favourite - at City broke through middle, mid second half with Koren, who released a lovely through ball to his right to the over lapping McClean - "Dont that donkey, anyone but him"............... 2-1 City

Absolute tool! Most liely never even played the game himself!

Back to Stewarts worth, to us he is worth the £90 mil we get if promoted, realistic figure would be £3 - 5 mil

Why is it that estimations for our players seem to be lower than players at other clubs? Is it because we stay under the radar so others don't notice our players as much?
If Stewart was at Southampton people would be talking about £5million + and if he was at Sheffield Wednesday they would probably be saying £3million.
The bloke tears up Championship teams for fun whenever he's fit, he's still a kid and can only get better. City should put a sign around his neck saying '£5million or F*ck off!'

Glad you do. With £80m + on offer even a £5million bid should be treated with contempt. We wont get back to the PL by selling off our best players.

Papa Allam is no fool. The PL richies on offer should mean the ""NO SALE"" signs go up at the KC.

As ive posted before, apart from Waghorn, Jay Simpson and James Harper I dont expect anyone else to leave in Jan.

I am even now thinking (due to Gulacsi's improved form) that NB will hold back on a keeper unless Basso is really struggling to get fit to play. Just 2 new strikers needed. Time to spend for that push back to the promised land.
