If you want a proper perspective on where we are have a listen to the latest episode of last word on spurs - won't name the guests but 2 of them get into a real heated debate about Ange. Very uncomfortable but real.
Very convincing argument tbf...but I am still clinging on in the name of mindless optimism that Ange just needs time
Social media is a sick place. I post photos on Instagram so my daughters can see them but don't go near anything else.
You’re definitely not alone in that. I don’t share that opinion but there’s still a big percentage that back him and think he will come good. He could still end up a massive hero at Spurs if he can somehow win the Europa league.
It's on a knife edge either way but being Spurs they will no doubt get to the final then lose to Utd.....
It’s also on Spotify and means you can listen in bed when you don’t have to keep the screen open to play YouTube
Yeah the new guy at the start went right off on one. I am in the Ange out camp but not that strongly!! It’s all on the Europa league for me, and I think for many of us. A limp exit in the quarters or semi’s, or getting to the final and not turning up, would seal Ange’s fate I’m sure.
The bloke did come across as a bit of a k*** after a while though, and just laboured his point a bit too long for me! However, I do feel that this seems like the end game is in progrees and only victory in the Europa League will save him. However, I can also see him limping onto the summer regardless if the worst does happen, as I cannot see the point of dear old Ryan in charge again. Then again who truly knows what is going on in Blofelds mind at the moment.....
I found in that the feisty one (won't name him - was a bit too derogatory in what he continued to call Ange. Be upset but trying to force your opinion on others needs to be more measured. To say Ange is worse than a few other is a bit much. His argument was sound but one dimensional. Poor TJ Ramini and Ricky having to follow that!
I listen to the " Game is about Glory" on Spotify, the guys on there give a good appraisal of the games and club without going over the top , new episodes come out the day after a game
Who do you blame?Spurs manager for these crappy results? The injury list instead or partly?Or the greedy parties arranging so many football fixtures the players may be on crutches by the age of 40?
Basically a game of disaster dominos Before a ball was even kicked there were three dominoes waiting to fall - The number of fixtures we'd play this season was increased due to European football - Ange wanted us to compete in all four competitions, further increasing fixtures - Spence wasn't included in our European squad, so Porro/Udogie couldn't be rotated - Dragusin/Davies being our planned CB pairing in Season Killer Cup and Europa League games would have kept one domino standing as it meant Romero & Mickey Van could be rested... - ...but that put further pressure on Udogie to play games, due to Davies being a CB while Spence wasn't in the Europa squad, so a different domino was set to fall - ...and the further question about our CB pairing come the Europa knockout stages, as surely Romero & Mickey Van were the expected starters from that point From the outset we were risking at least one FB potentially getting injured and/or run into the ground due to Spence not being in the Europa squad, even before the injuries started to bite across the backline
I couldn't bring myself to watch MOTD2 or listen to the so-called experts discuss the match. Just wondering if anything was made of Bassey's assault on Tel? Not thinking about it's context in the match at the moment, only wondering about something that is out of control, reckless, likely to danger an opponent and possibly with intent was not deemed a red?
No idea, but even Dermot Gallagher thought Bassey's tackle on Bergvall was a penalty: https://www.skysports.com/football/...eserve-a-penalty-for-calvin-basseys-challenge Paul Tierney is ****ing useless.
Of course it was a pen. But it doesn't count as Bassey shouldn't have been on the pitch in order to give it away ;-)
