St. Parsetit's Day? (as in 'past it', combines 'arse' and 'tits' too)

St Tottenham's Day was named in honour of that well named gentleman,St Bill Nicholson.
This is the day that all Arsenal fans remain on their knees in tribute to this Godlike man until the ferry returns them to their homes in Woolwich.

  8. I've never understood the logic behind the name "St Totteringham's Day." Sure, I know that there is a supposed funny play on the word "totter" (meaning "to move in a feeble or unsteady way") and the parody of "Totteringham" with "Tottenham." But why would it be "Tottenham's Day" when we reach the point of not being able to overtake Arsenal in the league? Surely, that would make it Arsenal's Day, not ours?

Arsenal fans don't really like to cheer on their own team. The bitterness suits them perfectly :D

I'm not sure there's any point trying to find logic in gooner wummery.

Although saints' days often reflect the date of their death, so I suppose you could day that there is a link there...

I've been celebrating St Wunnuffinks day for at least 5 years. I alway buy gooner friends a drink when they can no longer win anything and vice versa, they help me drown my sorrows when Spurs season ends.
