Yes a very disappointing performance unfortunately. It seemed that most of the players had been out on Friday night celebrating pre game they were so lethargic. Cullen needs a kick up his jacksi....why does he insist on passing the ball backwards when there is space to run on to? Why does he have to argue with the officials so often? Get on with it. If Ronald had headed in to the net who knows we could have snook something from the game....
Agree with all you have written Ugo - terrible miss by Ronald: he should have at least forced the goalie to make a save
My grandson and I sit in the West and we were ‘virtually’ behind Ronald as he headed it …. we both shook our heads
We sit there too on the towards the half way line and we were all up celebrating the goal ....that wasnt. I have never seen the ground so empty at the final whistle either. Was it the cold? The lack of entertainment? the rugby lol?
the announced gate was about 13500 but there were probably about 10000 there. Loads of empty seats around us although they are all hospitality season tickets.
There weren’t many over 10,000 for the Blackburn match (10,600?) according to my contact at the Club - there seemed to be fewer there last Saturday.
The physical/actual attendance last Saturday was just over 9,100 ….. That must be a concern to the Yanks
Perhaps with the rugby over the weather getting warmer and for example both Derby and Plymouth having good away followings the fans will be back in higher numbers.
