Looking at the evidence we now need at least one CM, a centre forward and a centre half and we need to keep our fingers crossed for some of the injured players (the da Silvas being two of them) to come back. With Owen and Hernandez injured and Berbatov ostrascised we need a striker as Macheda is hopeless and Welbeck still raw. Vidic is now seemingly crocked and with Rio never going to get back to the level he was we're stretched depending on Jones and Smalling with Evans providing flimsy cover. And yes, Sneijder would do fine thank you. I'd prefer Schweinsteiger, or Ozil, or Modric but Sneijder would be good and a massive improvement on what we have there. That would be just the begining though, some bollocks at CM wouldn't go amiss either. This has been building for a couple of seasons though and we've got away with it till this season.
