Why wasn’t such a massive game a feature on the main channels?,Found out it was hidden away on iplayer and saw some of second half. Credit to FC, they looked dead and buried but fought back. The kicker scored a couple of good ones from the line after missing easier ones.

Cup Finals don’t count. Silly statement. Non league and amateur cup final got 100,000 years ago. Wigan v FC had a larger attendance than FC v Rovers.
No Liverpool or Everton fan would claim their biggest derby attendance was a Cup Final, only strange rugby fans from Hull. Maybe Crook .Town and Bishop Auckland should claim they are massive because their amateur final at Wembley had 100,000 there?

 

No. They battled for it. Though I smiled at the commentator going on about the Hull fans who had made such a long journey on a Saturday afternoon. Surprisingly few of them.
