Damn, all I did was lament about a good striker who we could’ve signed to solve our terminal striker options.

I do know we were interested in him in 2022 and 2023. The first time was Acun’s first summer window and Wright had just finished a good loan spell at Antalyaspor from a Danish club. He ended up signing permanently for Antalyaspor and we got Estupiñán instead. Second time we actually agreed terms with club and player in January 2023 but they pulled out last minute and he ended up at Coventry in the following summer window for slightly more than the fee we agreed for him.

He’s a good player and quite versatile. Tall, strong, quick, good finisher with either foot and can play on the left as well.

 

It’s a shame the ‘what is woke?’ thread is locked because both of Bournemouth’s centre-halves are wearing short sleeves with black gloves.

He’s not that bright. (I know someone who was sat next to bloke who played Benny on a flight. They said he was a smashing bloke who put up with people pestering him with good grace and gave his time willingly and was a good bloke to talk to.)
