Don't want to see inexperience being trotted out as an excuse for this. This squad is more than experienced at the level, 6/11 starters are going away on international duty for first team or youth teams as well. Performances have been miles off it for weeks now, if not longer than that.
Clear by 12 points but that's not a lot if you are out of form. I think we will be ok but might be close.
If we lose this we’ll have lost 1 in a row and be 4th and comfortably on course for playoffs. Things aren’t as bad as some making out. Poor form now but if you had to pick a single time of the season to have bad form and have good form the rest, I’d pick this period in Feb / March. That changes after the international break.
even in this out of form period we have 7 points from 5 games. We’ll tick along. Need to pick it up after the international break
Is this the first game this season we’ve lost by more than 1? Assuming we don’t get 2 in injury time (or the next 2 weeks if we keep playing!!)
What does it matter if supporters keep trying to be positive ffs, what does it matter. Insufferable? Just f*ck off if you don't like Sunderland supporters trying to look on the bright side. We're guaranteed the playoffs, and could soon be in the PL after recently being nowhere in League One. Please excuse me for trying to stay positive, I'll do my utmost to be more negative in future
I personally think it's because some of our players have played every single minute. We seem to have really hit a wall.
Yeh in a way it’s a shame so many are going away this international break. Look like they could do with a week in Tenerife at a training / recuperation camp
Yeah, we have players who have played pretty much every game and then players on the bench who've barely seen the field but they are expected to come on and change things.
