Lets face it we've been **** whenever he hasn't played and I'm pretty sure its no coincidence that the recent troubles are due to the fact we've had to play without him and therefore have no creativity or tbh quality in the center of the park :(.
Would also like to point out that De Gea is ****.

Yes, we miss Cleverley. He links the play well, so we can get away with playing defensive midfielders behind him.

De Gea isn't ****, but he has a flaw in his temperament. I think he'll continue to make mistakes in pressure matches, even when he gains the experience.

Yeah fair enough **** is harsh but when the defense is struggling as ours is; i know weve been keeping clean sheets of late but where prone to mistakes and look vulnerable against better teams i.e. city :( , but back to the point we cant keep playing a keeper that makes these mistakes i mean lets face it his mistake cost us just a week or 2 ago against benfica and it cant keep happening

We were very good in those 4 games we had cleverly. But honestly your right. A rare achievement.

I think we need to qualify this a bit - in those games we created a lot of chances and scored a lot of goals - we were still conceding a lot of chances.
Cleverly does add a spark of creativity but he doesn't address the defensive issues.

Still, we shouldn't be affected so much by losing a player just promoted from the academy team.

We don't miss Cleverley - he's going to be another Fletcher type at best. What we miss is Scholes and Keane from 10 years ago.

For me, Cleverly has shown signs that he can develop into the creative player we need. This is a good thing because it frees Fergie to buy defensive and/or combative midfielders who will protect the defence better. The defence is struggling because the midfield exposes them. Any defence would struggle in such circumstances.

The best thing about Cleverly is his self-confidence and belief in his own ability. He understands what we're lacking and he knows how he can supply it.

i've a feeling we'll still be watching fergie persist with giggs in centre midfield in 5 years time...

I'm sure De Gea is just frustrated because he can probably play CM better than most of our squad, and he has to watch the CM's we play, play like **** every game.
