Fans of teams in the Champions League only. So good to see that there is still a city in England that will not have this nation shamed and embarrassed by Switzerland's...erm...elite. Not to worry to Manchester's other club. Few hundred million here, few hundred million there and they may just finish as the runners up of the group and make it to the last 16. Both in to the Europa League where they won't have as teams as threatening as Otelul Galati to play. So, who would you like to get in the last 16? And who do you have a feeling that you will get?
They do seem to have a major problem with Rooney going missing in big games and losing to teams that play in Barcelona colours.
Great night for the London clubs. Not sure of the teams who have qualified... but, someone like Bayer Leverkusen I think would be nice...
Unlucky to United and City but the champions league isn't a place to be taken for granted.... No refs to fall back on (unless your Barca) and Money bags no matter how much you have can buy you the trophy (ask the Sheik & Roman) but you do have to be in it to win it..... Great place to be for both London clubs!
Hahaha lets all laugh at the Mancs If it had been us and Chelsea going out instead of them, the media would rip us apart but watch them go quiet about United failing miserably in the by far the easiest group. No real big names except Milan, but I think that the two Russian clubs + Leverkusen and Lyon would be quite challenging as well. Away games in Russia are always tricky (especially in February times with cold weather) and Leverkusen has looked solid. Won all their home games and they didn't play bad at all at Stamford Bridge or in Valencia. Lyon is Lyon, on a good day they can beat nearly anyone. We shouldn't forget that our home record in the CL is magnificent and in the 4 seasons no non-english except Barca was able to knock us out. I want Basel and let our team give Manure a lesson on how to beat them.
Would you please moderate your language! You might have had a trying day with with the grandchildren and the baa-lambs, but thats no reason to come onto the top draw board a spittin and a cursin.
