well mine for certain was being in the middle of the riverside as nigel jemson scored with his head in the 90th minute to score our second in that memorable win against everton in the FA cup 2003.

after an action packed 90 mins, and a wonderful nigel jemson free kick, the game was seemingly ending one all, everyone was happy with the prospect of a replay away at goodison, i remember the chant of "if youre all going to goodison clap your hands", but as he banged in that header, iv never seen scenes like it, complete ecstasy and disbelief, elation and the loudest i ever heard the riverside. this isnt one of my favourite moments as a town fan, it is one of my favourite moments ever.

their was a certain little chubby lad playing for the toffees, completely marked out of the game by pete "the feet" wilding and was substituted eventually, i think his name was "wayne rooney" or something like that.
pete wilding didnt turn professional until his mid 20's, what a day for him! and what a memory.

a great match, followed by the most beer iv ever drunk after a match, and a very unproductive sunday!

Just before I started watching Town but I can imagine that must have been fabulous. I remember being in the Boathouse when some fans came in after the game - very happy fans too.

I loved the win at Derby because half the family group I was with were in the away end and half with the noisier Derby fans. Outplaying Swansea and going ahead at Arsenal were special too.

I love being on the right side of a comeback, so the 3-3 with MK and the 4-3 win against Charlton were wonderful. Beating MK 2-1 at Gay Meadow & helping drag them into the play offs (and we know what happened there) was great, as was the 3-0 win against Rochdale - probably the best performance I saw from Town at Gay Meadow.

Almost forgot the penalty shoot out at Stoke that resurrected our league status - great atmosphere that afternoon.

The 7-0 against Gillingham was a bit special and the Mexican wave was funny, particularly when it stopped at the away end and resumed a few seconds later. Finally nailing the Vale hoodoo was lovely too.

But I think my favourite has to be Bury away in the play offs. Everything went against us - the soft own goal in the home leg, the early penalty to them, the far too harsh Leslie sending off and the fact we didn't play that well. The tension was extraordinary but the heroics of Luke Daniels and the emotional release when McIntyre scored and then winning the penalties made it a wonderful, backs to the wall victory.

Have to say I'm hoping a lot of favourite memories have still to happen ...

Watching a world-beating Victor Kasule score. Not so much the goal, but the crowd reaction. In an instant the entire fencing would have supporters clambering up, chanting his name..

    'V-i-i-i-ictorrrrrrrr, V-i-i-i-ictorrrrrrr, V-i-i-ictorrrrrrrrrrrrrr!'

    It was awesome.

The kit Town wore in the Barnet game is one I really like. A game that I will always have great memories of is the Forest Green v Shrewsbury from our Conference days. Just happy memories of visiting such a unique pitch high up above Nailsworth.

I have fond memories of the Conference season. The support that year was brilliant. The away support was something else!

I went to my most away games that season. Northwich victoria playing at that pitch in the middle of those salt pits was quite a sight, can't remember the name of it though :(

One that stands out was probably my first away trip. It was to Chester in the promotion season of 1958-59. We were 2-0 down at half time but scored 5 within about 15 minutes of the restart and eventually won 5-3. The one and only GAR scoring 2.

sadly, i do not have many memories of watching the shrews live. one was about 1963 when i travelled up to watch shrews beat the gas 7-3, at least i watched dear old arthur rowley fouled in the penalty area and score the penalty. another highlight was on tv,in the 1980's when town beat ipswich. there was a close up of a preserved lms locomotive leander. from memory town always seem to beat ipswich.

I remember the Northwich Victoria game well too. We had the home end if my memory serves me right, our support that year was phenomenal!

Drill Field? Northwich were always great rivals of my home town team, Runcorn (now happily rebuilding as Runcorn Linnets). Stuart Maconie once said the fiercest local derby in football was Northwich Victoria v Witton Albion.

From recently, it would have to be for me the first half at Dagenham a couple of years back standing in the open at a cowshed of a ground watching Humphrey and Holt destroy the opposition and send us eventually to Wembley - surely Simpson's finest hour. Also, in Turner's first season back watching us demolish sorry Stockport 4-0 at Edgely Park with them hardly having an attempt at goal in the whole game (Simpson was involved in that one two!). I remember after about half an hour with the score at 0-0 turning to my son and saying 'Robinson is doing nothing - Turner should take him off'. Thirty minutes later after a classy strike and assist from Robinson I turned to my son again and said ' Thats why Turner is the manager and I'm not!
From the distant past I would go for my favourite player Alf Wood's five goals in a 7-1 demolition of Blackburn the week before I left Shropshire for the first time to go to University. Several of those goals would not be allowed now as the centre-half and then goalkeeper were both bundled into the net along with the ball.

I've only been a fan for a year. But that Tuesday night in Swansea is my crown jewel.

Also, in far jammier circumstances, went mad following Ainsworth's last minute fluker to finally flush away pesky Barnet, and their 70 or so fans.

on the flipside of the coin, i rememeber going away to mansfield on a friday night around 1998/99, i was a student then, so it was a big deal giving up my friday night in the pub.
but on the back of a good run of form, we went to field mill with reasonable expectations.

there was no roof on the away end, it rained for pretty much the whole game, we got drenched, i dont recall us creating a single chance and lost 4-0!!

the 5-0 at torquay was pretty bad last season too, even though the main highlight of that game was jermaine grandison's tackle on that prat jake robinson!! if youre going to get a red card, might as well do it in style!! and torquay at least theres the consolation of the many pubs and clubs!

the proudest moment for me was reading the text of shrews game at the emirates, and jamie collins opening the scoring. those gooners must have wondered what was coming their way. but class told over bravado. we fear nobody! bring on boro. floreat salopia
