I can’t see it at all. For a yellow card to be given - the ref has to be 100% that he dived. I honestly can’t see how he can be The thing that winds me up most is we can’t do anything about it. I can’t stand VAR so not suggesting that - but we have now got to suffer a suspension due to a ref making an obvious error. Football needs to protects refs a bit but this isn’t doing it. Refs will make mistakes - we all will. If it’s agreed a clear and obvious mistake was made the suspension should be lifted regardless of what colour card was shown. It will take the pressure off the refs. You don’t even need to wipe the sending off or yellow card off the record - just remove the suspension. This makes it worse for refs. It’d be forgotten about by now. Football makes it harder for refs.
i think he did dive personally, ive looked at it dozens of times and he flops for me yes his hand was on his back, but puerta flops like a salmon, he dives over the players foot making it look like he tried to catch his foot to trip over it and thats probably what got the yellow unfortunately

Nonsense, it was a definite penalty. I had to go and collect something from the club shop after the game and they had the clip of Puerta being tripped on a loop on the big screens.
