Palmer and Burstow should start. Crooks and Joseph benched.

A point will be a good return.

Joseph is not close to being a natural wideman so its credit hes done okay at time there

Id like to see him central though especially with pedro out

Joseph's done a decent job filling in, but he was poor last night, we looked much better when Burstow came on.

I've gone for a win out of habit but I have my doubts. Bit of a free hit really, WBA will expect to win and we're 2 men down.
I thought both Burstow and Palmer did well last night so start them? I hope Alzate's up for another start, he's hard to replace but he might well be a bit knackered. Joseph looks like he either needs a rest or to be playing in a different position. Probably a good game to give Lincoln a run out too. Good news is there's a fortnight after this to rest up for the Luton game and we'll have Puerta back for it.

Without Puerta and Pedro I just can’t see us getting anything out of this, I hope that I’m wrong and that Geldhardt is played through the middle as he looks to be our only hope of scoring.

Feel a bit sorry for Joseph. Doesn’t have the pace, balance, crossing or dribbling ability to be a winger. He’s done it without complaint though and he works hard. A few times he tried to take his fullback on and he looked so unnatural doing it. He’s good at holding the ball up and pressing.

I think he's looked OK there at times but his second half last night was terrible. Maybe it's easy for us to forget that he wasn't as bad as that for the whole game, nor in his spell there against Plymouth.

Joseph Centre forward, Geldhart just behind
    Kamara and Burstow/Lincoln wide.

Joesph looks no where near cut out for this level, touch and vision is everything… he is devoid of both.

Someone told me last night that Harry Vaughan is doing well for the under 21's, scored two and made two last week in a 5-0 win?
Also Sinik must be close to making a return and helping his team mates out? Surely he must have grown another leg by now?

Yeah Vaughan has been involved in a lot of goals in the U21s. Problem for him though is that there are still a lot of players ahead of him in his position even with all the injuries and suspensions.

Sinik just doesn't ever seem to be a serious part of the squad. Whenever the timeframe of his latest injury is up it just goes silent about him, as if the manager just doesn't want him involved regardless of his fitness and doesn't see a need to talk about him. With any other player there'd be an urgency about getting him back involved. He must be such a waster for all these managers to not want him.

It won't matter that he's got a third leg now, he'll still find summat to injure. :emoticon-0145-shake

Sinik's supposed to have played an U21's game by now, but he seems to have gone AWOL again.

I don't see why we bothered signing Lincoln, would much rather Vaughan was given a shot

When Vaughan plays for the U21's he looks like a man amongst boys.

When Vaughan plays for the first team, he looks like a boy amongst men.
