Only makes sense if Leeds don't ever make it to Premier League tbf. Being Rangers’ feeder team, whilst being in the Premier League would make Leeds weaker.

The benefits of the takeover for both teams will be shared player data and scouting networks.

In terms of feeder agreement, I don’t see it in a formal way – I can see Leeds having first dibs on players who are successful at Rangers i.e. Rangers sign a player who goes on to perform exceptionally well in European games valued at 20m, they (Leeds) get first dibs and don’t have to enter into a bidding war.

If Leeds have a talented young player or a talented player needing regular game time , Rangers get first dib on taking them on loan.

It seems to be how many multi club deals work across Europe. Apparenty, Brighton want Lennon Miller but will ‘allow’ USG in Belgium to buy him, develop him and they then sign him for a decent fee (if he develops to level of say Gilmour).

This model certainly has it benefits.

 

I know, I only posted it because the tarriers think Rangers will be Leeds feeder club and not what my wonderful post states.

 

I read weeks ago that the Rangers takeover will only go through if Leeds get promoted as EPL rules regarding dual ownership are a lot more relaxed than the EFL rules. That makes no sense as surely the yank lawyers would have looked into this and also if it was true, what would happen if Leeds got promoted and then get relegated the season after? FTP
