Yeah, we dodged a bullet there, we were going to waste 60m on him, but he chose Liverpool, so we saved 20m by only wasting 40m on Scammacca instead
The outcome we all expected in truth. The Prem pays it's billions but is mugging off the fans with bog standard ****. It's so ****ing bad, Newcastle could win their first trophy in 70 years.
I hear you. When Gordon lined up for our penalty at Everton earlier in the season it felt the same for us. The occassion had clearly got to him and you sort of want someone to just go up and offer to take it on his behalf.
It adds pressure though. Who knows but if someone steps up and puts the 2nd one in them let's pressure and Jones may score. Hard to say but putting Nunez in that first 5 is not clever.
Agree with everything Slot has said in his interview to be honest. Mostly comes across pretty well when i see him talk.
It was quite a weird feeling we've played well and it was a good game over 2 legs, nerves kicking in towards the end and then penalties and you hope it's goes your way. Then pen No. 2 and Nunez steps up and it was confusion, what's going on? Why? That's not right. I was deflated and expecting miss. I don't even blame him, should never have been put in that position.
Thinking of the Man Utd new stadium plans earlier today, I came across The Center Potsdamer Platz, in Berlin, which has this design for a roof... Probably the most striking element of the architectural ensemle at Potsdamer Platz is the 67-metre-high roof construction made of fabric panels that stretches like a tent roof over the middle of the center area. The individual panels are attached with tie rods to a steel ring that rests on the surrounding buildings. Another striking feature is the glass skyscraper, which at 103 meters is the tallest building on Potsdamer Platz. It is used by Deutsche Bahn and forms the eastern end of the Center Potsdamer Platz. https://www.berlin.de/en/attractions-and-sights/3560868-3104052-sony-center.en.html please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
