Credit were it's due, I think PSG are probably the best side we've faced this season. Gutted to go out but all the best to them with the rest of the tournament. Finishing top of the league stage really benefited us

Nobody wants to miss a penalty. Once Nunéz missed and PSG scored it was 3-1 so there was extra pressure on that spot kick. He missed unfortunately.
Think the problem we have at the moment is we don’t have a forward in form apart from salah who has dropped a little last few weeks. Hopefully Trent and konate aren’t to bad could be another patchwork team for carabo cup final
Shame that. Prob over 2 legs they deserved it. Todsy was a lot more even but how we didn’t score a goal I’m not entirely sure. The amount of blocks they got inside the 6 yard box. By the end of the 90 and ET we just looked knackered. Can see the benefit of psg resting their entire first 11 at weekend compared to us. Hopefully the TAA and Konate injuries aren’t too bad as we’ve got 4 defenders out injured now otherwise. Im surprise that didn’t bring tsimikas on for Konate and move Quansah to CB as he can take a pen. When it came to pens I wasn’t confident. Salah and Mac are only 2 I really trust and one wasn’t on the pitch. Shame but it is what it is. Knock out football is cruel

Nah Nunez went mid height, just what keeper wants. Jones was better placed but good save. if anything Ali should have saved the first. He did the hard part standing still but just couldn’t push off. Will never slag any player off for missing a pen, no one does it on purpose and the keepers are there to save them. It happens. Best players miss them. Ballsy to step up. Hope jones and nunez get the support

Yeah 100%, they wouldn’t have been my choices but at the end of the day, a shootout is the means for someone to miss and go out
Ideally, you get the side netting but he made good contact, got decent power and hit the target. Keeper goes the wrong way and everyone praises him, that's the luck of penalties. I'll never criticise a player taking as penalty but clearly not everyone on here feels the same. You don't always have to act the ****, giving praise to the opposition isn't treason!
