I wouldn't say it's conceivable just because their points tallies over the season are the same given Coventry's form over their last 10, 6 and 3 is significantly better. I would have had no issue with your statement if you had cited the first two games, because obviously Cardiff or Luton have to pick up points and Portsmouth will be on the beach now, but throwing Derby's game in was just weird.
As Portsmouth had won three of their last four I'd say it's a lot more likely than Derby, a side with one win in fourteen beating a side with nine wins in ten. Everything is possible in football but if we're talking what's conceivable within the parameters of form then one is far more likely than the other. If we're playing a game of "Well everything's conceivable because it's football and anything can happen" then he didn't need the qualifier, he could have just listed the fixtures, but he seemed to be saying it was a reasonably possible outcome.
Yep, so weird (even though the logic was so obvious, being that they were one of the 3 bottom clubs being discussed). So inconceivable.
Yes anything can happen. I can put my hands up. But you really make it tough with how quick you are to gloat. The point was if anything can happen you didn't need the qualifier, but yes this is a remarkable result for them. One I wouldn't have conceived!
and you "really make it tough with how quick you are to" ... pick an argument. HT2 nailed it the other day (yet another poster making the same point about you). It was obvious to anyone with even just an ounce of intelligence that I was listing who the 3 teams that were occupying the bottom three places were playing next, and clearly said it's conceivable that "1 (or more)" of those 3 could pick up points. You just couldn't wait yet again to jump in and argue that black is white to get your daily fix. Now you look rather daft. Btw, hopefully Coventry pull it back, like they did the other day, but at least the point is proven (that it's conceivable), even though all I was saying was "1 (or more)" of the bottom 3 could pick up points, not specifically that Derby would. Lost on you though in your rush to pick an argument.
Bloody hell I literally said I hold my hands up that I got it wrong. What is your problem? Couldn't even wait until full time to jump in to gloat that you were right I was wrong.
If you had just posted "yep, I hold my hands up" then fair enough, but you didn't did you. What's my problem? Really? Whatever.
