442 getting exposed at times but we’re trying to force things. Need to relax on the ball and pick the passes. Preston have come for a game mind, not sitting back and look capable.

 

I don’t mind him striking it the form he’s in. Looks bad in retrospect but I like his confidence

It's not that different from normal. Just a striker playing in second striker position instead of a CM player. So naturally a touch higher up but can spring quicker.

We have been lazy on the ball and sloppy. That's been the difference so far

 

Mayenda and Isidor seem to have swapped and we’ve gone into a proper 4-4-2 now

 

What's happening with Watson tonight ? Literally can not trap or hold the ball so far. Probably just rust but it looks random as hell.

 

Dan Neil was incredible for a couple of months but had been awful so far tonight

442 is not working ATM. We're conceding possession in the middle of the pitch too easily.

A flat 442 is not right imo. It doesnt seem to suit anyone here. The movement of the front 2 is poor and we have no structure to our possession.
