It's probably just an age thing and wanting the 'simple game' to stay just that, simple. The biggest problem the game has is the standard of refereeing, not the need for more convoluted punishments and spurious rule changes.
same. My boy pulls me up on it all the time, and my answer is always the same - I love him but I hate him!
Utd are leveraged to more than a billion in debt, they are not affording this. The documentation leans heavily into "regeneration", clearly they are angling for tax payer to foot the bill
The council have already agreed to be involved in the regeneration of the area but that doesn't include the stadium but having seen the design think it will be difficult to separate the 2 in some areas due to that huge "umbrella" .
This pisses me right off actually. Once football clubs were an integral part of the community and closely associated with it. Now they're largely a cash cow for rich entrepreneurs with little or no interest in the wider social role football plays. If it's true, then the lack of awareness - or just plain cheek - of Ratcliffe sacking local people yet claiming public funding for "regeneration" is just laughable.
When labour declare thst there's a 40billion hole in the finances and they are going to glory grow their way out of it i think it would be absolute folly putting 2billion into man utd. However let's just be clear here. The bernebau is generating 10mil per game now put that over what is an assured 25 gskes minimum and you find a whopping doubling of the revenue man utd generate. Now can man utd get 10mil a gsme out of a 100k stadium full of corporates? Maybe they can but they payback will be 20 years on it.
Two executive directors are going to be taken off the payroll. This is going to be part of cost saving exercise towards the stadium. However, SAR is going no where.
Where on earth are you lo9t getting the idea that Labour is putting any money towards our new stadium? Someone is taking the piss out of you and at this rate you will be dehydrated soon
Labour taken money off people and not giving anything back. They failed to pay winter fuel for the elderly. I cannot see any difference between Labour and Tories now.
I am aware of all that and hate Labour with a vengence but what has that got to do with Uniteds new stadium?
Did you listen to your own clubs release. "Aligned with growth strategy" You can get all defensive but your owners want government money for this.
